about karmic & lilic yoga

Since the beginning of this year, I've embarked on a journey to become a certified yoga teacher, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

My yoga journey started many years ago in a tiny converted garage with two of my sister’s close friends, Sally and John. After Amy passed away, I found immense comfort in grieving and healing alongside them. Occasionally, my father would join us in his tidy whities and tennis shorts, grunting noisily as he got into postures. Seeing him learn something new and spending time together in a completely different way was a joy.

I have such fond memories of my yoga journey, navigating the ins and outs of life while squeezing in various styles of yoga, from Bikram and Ashtanga to Hatha, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. I’ve dipped in and out of practice over the years and finally realized, “I want in.” Now, I feel emotionally balanced, strong, flexible, creative, and engaged. I sweat and feel like an athlete, something I never felt when I was younger.

I’ve come to a better acceptance of who I am now than I ever did before. I am a constant work in progress, but the work is only as hard as you make it. I embrace the balance between the person I strive to be and the person I am.

Teaching yoga allows me to share this gift of balance, grace, and perseverance that we all have within us, waiting to be brought out and given light.

So, I am thrilled to introduce my new venture: Karmic & Lilic Yoga.

The glue that holds us together.

In my classes, you'll find thoughtful sequences, a focus on breathwork, and detailed alignment instructions. I also weave in mindfulness and meditation, helping students connect deeply with themselves. My goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone, no matter their age or ability.

Grateful for the generous souls who, over the past
five months, shared their fears, motivations, and challenges.
They cried, sweated, grew, practiced, and taught,
becoming a version of themselves they are proud of.
